Alexander P. Protogenov, Evgueni V. Chulkov, and Valery A. Verbus

TL;DR
This paper investigates edge state transport in 2D topological insulators using a nonlocal approach, revealing universal nonlocal responses indicative of topological order with potential applications.
Contribution
It introduces a nonlocal transport scheme for 2D topological insulators and demonstrates universal nonlocal responses in ballistic transport.
Findings
Universal nonlocal response observed in edge transport
Topological order manifests in macroscopic transport properties
Potential applications in electronic devices
Abstract
We use the N-terminal scheme for studying the edge state transportin in two-dimensional topological insulators. We find the universal nonlocal response in the ballistic transport approach. This macroscopic exhibition of the topological order offers different areas for applications.
