TL;DR
This paper extends a method for comparing dark matter detection data to include all interaction types, demonstrated with magnetic moment interactions, enhancing the analysis of diverse dark matter models.
Contribution
It generalizes the halo-independent comparison method to encompass any interaction type, not just spin-independent ones, broadening its applicability.
Findings
Successfully applied the generalized method to magnetic moment interactions.
Demonstrated the method's flexibility for various dark matter interaction models.
Provides a framework for more comprehensive dark matter data analysis.
Abstract
We extend the halo-independent method to compare direct dark matter detection data, so far used only for spin-independent WIMP-nucleon interactions, to any type of interaction. As an example we apply the method to magnetic moment interactions.
