Takayuki Kubo, Takayuki Saeki, and Yoshihisa Iwashita

TL;DR
This paper derives formulae to describe RF electromagnetic field attenuation in a multilayer coating model involving superconducting and insulating layers, based on rigorous electromagnetic theory.
Contribution
It provides new analytical formulae for RF field attenuation in multilayer superconducting coatings using Maxwell and London equations.
Findings
Derived explicit RF attenuation formulae for multilayer coatings.
Validated the formulae through theoretical calculations.
Enhanced understanding of RF behavior in superconducting multilayer structures.
Abstract
Formulae that describe the RF electromagnetic field attenuation for the multilayer coating model with a single superconductor layer and a single insulator layer deposited on a bulk superconductor are derived from a rigorous calculation with the Maxwell equations and the London equation.
