Moumita Das, Subhendra Mohanty

TL;DR
This paper proposes a leptophilic dark matter model within a gauged $L_{mbda}-L_{ au}$ extension of MSSM, explaining cosmic ray positron excesses while satisfying relic density and collider constraints.
Contribution
It introduces a novel $U(1)_{L_{mbda}-L_{ au}}$ SUSY model with a specific dark matter candidate that accounts for observed positron excesses via resonance-enhanced annihilation.
Findings
Model explains positron excesses up to 350 GeV.
Achieves correct relic density consistent with LHC constraints.
Large annihilation cross-section via Breit-Wigner resonance.
Abstract
Positron excess upto energies 350 GeV has been observed by AMS-02 result and it is consistent with the positron excess observed by PAMELA upto 100 GeV. There is no observed excess of anti-protons over the expected CR background. We propose a leptophilic dark matter with an gauge extension of MSSM. The dark matter is an admixture of the gaugino and fermionic partners of the extra singlet Higgs boson, which break the symmetry. We construct the SM SUSY model which provides the correct relic density of dark matter and is consistent with constrain on from LHC. The large dark matter annihilation cross-section into and , needed to explain PAMELA and AMS-02 is achieved by Breit-Wigner resonance.
