K. Azizi, H. Sundu, S. Sahin

TL;DR
This paper calculates the form factors for the semileptonic decay of B mesons into an excited charmed tensor meson using QCD sum rules, estimating decay widths and branching ratios relevant for detection at LHCb.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed calculation of transition form factors for B to D2* meson decay using three-point QCD sum rules, including decay width and branching ratio estimates.
Findings
Branching ratio suggests detectability at LHCb.
Form factors fitted for decay width estimation.
Decay channel has significant branching ratio.
Abstract
The transition form factors of the semileptonic decay channel are calculated within the framework of the three-point QCD sum rules. The fit functions of the form factors are then used to estimate the total decay width and branching ratio of this transition. The order of branching ratio shows that this channel can be detected at LHCb.
