Ice Cube Observed PeV Neutrinos from AGN Cores
Floyd W. Stecker

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that neutrinos from active galactic nuclei (AGN) cores can account for Ice Cube's PeV neutrino detections without violating existing cosmic ray and gamma-ray background constraints.
Contribution
It proposes a model where AGN core neutrino flux explains Ice Cube observations, aligning with cosmic ray and gamma-ray data, offering a new explanation for high-energy neutrinos.
Findings
AGN core neutrino flux matches Ice Cube PeV detections
Model is consistent with cosmic ray background constraints
Gamma-ray background constraints are not violated
Abstract
I show that the high energy neutrino flux predicted to arise from AGN cores can explain the PeV neutrinos detected by Ice Cube without conflicting with the constraints from the observed extragalactic cosmic ray and gamma-ray backgrounds.
