TL;DR
This paper presents a lattice QCD method to extract resonance parameters of unstable baryons, demonstrated on the Delta resonance decay, providing key coupling constants and decay widths.
Contribution
It introduces a novel lattice QCD approach for determining resonance parameters of unstable baryons, specifically applied to the Delta decay process.
Findings
Successfully extracted the pion-nucleon - Delta coupling constant.
Determined the Delta decay width.
Validated the method for resonance parameter extraction.
Abstract
A method suitable for extracting resonance parameters of unstable baryons in lattice QCD is examined. The method is applied to the strong decay of the Delta to a pion-nucleon state, extracting the pion-nucleon - Delta coupling constant and Delta decay width.
