M.V. Movshev, A. Schwarz

TL;DR
This paper explores the structure of generalized Chern-Simons actions and their applications to maximally supersymmetric gauge theories, introducing new deformations based on super Lie algebra cohomology.
Contribution
It provides a novel construction of deformations for these theories using cohomology of super Lie algebras, expanding the understanding of their mathematical structure.
Findings
New class of deformations for supersymmetric gauge theories
Application of super Lie algebra cohomology to gauge theory deformations
Enhanced understanding of observables in generalized Chern-Simons actions
Abstract
We study observables and deformations of generalized Chern-Simons action and show how to apply these results to maximally supersymmetric gauge theories. We describe a construction of large class of deformations based on some results on the cohomology of super Lie algebras proved in the Appendix.
