Possibility of superconducting gap increase in heterogeneous superconductors
I.N.Zhilyaev

TL;DR
This paper explores the potential for increasing the superconducting gap in heterogeneous superconductors by examining pair scattering on Wigner crystal islands, relevant for thin films and boundary interfaces.
Contribution
It introduces a model for pair scattering on Wigner crystal islands, providing insights into enhancing the superconducting gap in heterogeneous systems.
Findings
Potential gap increase in heterogeneous superconductors.
Relevance to thin films and boundary interfaces.
Model applicability to high-temperature superconductor properties.
Abstract
A picture of pair scattering on Wigner crystal islands for the earlier proposed superconducting state in BCS superconductor with characteristic HTSC properties is presented. The model is supposed to be valid for thin heterogeneous films and boundaries between superconductors.
