Quantum field theory in four dimensions
Roberto Pittau (Granada U., Theor. Phys. Astrophys. & CAFPE, Granada)

TL;DR
This paper reviews the status of FDR, a novel four-dimensional regularization method for handling divergences in quantum field theory, applicable to ultraviolet, infrared, and collinear infinities.
Contribution
It introduces and discusses FDR, a new regularization approach that simplifies calculations by working directly in four dimensions, unlike traditional methods.
Findings
FDR effectively regulates ultraviolet divergences.
FDR also manages infrared and collinear infinities.
The approach simplifies quantum field theory calculations.
Abstract
I review the current status of FDR, the recently introduced Four-Dimensional Regularization/Renormalization approach to ultraviolet divergences in Quantum Field Theory. FDR also regulates infrared and collinear infinities in the intermediate steps of the calculation.
