Rotating frame analysis of rigid body dynamics in space phasor variables
Shayak Bhattacharjee

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel approach for analyzing the dynamics of symmetric tops in space by transforming Euler's equations into the lab frame and solving them using space phasor methods.
Contribution
It presents a new method combining body-to-lab frame extraction with space phasor solutions for rigid body dynamics analysis.
Findings
Effective transformation of Euler's equations to the lab frame.
Successful application of space phasor method to solve the equations.
Enhanced understanding of symmetric top behavior in space.
Abstract
New method of analysing the free and heavy symmetric tops using Euler's equations to perform extraction from the body frame to the lab frame. Subsequent to extraction, the lab frame equations are solved by space phasor method.
