Kateryna V. Sklyar, Rabah Rabah (IRCCyN), Grigory M. Sklyar

TL;DR
This paper investigates the spectral assignment problem for linear neutral type systems, focusing on how to assign eigenvalues and eigenvectors to achieve desired spectral properties.
Contribution
It introduces methods for eigenvalue and eigenvector assignment in neutral type systems, expanding control design capabilities.
Findings
Developed a framework for spectral assignment in neutral systems
Provided conditions for the existence of systems with prescribed spectra
Enhanced understanding of eigenstructure manipulation in neutral systems
Abstract
For a large class of linear neutral type systems the problem of eigenvalues and eigenvectors assignment is investigated, i.e. finding the system which has the given spectrum and almost all, in some sense, eigenvectors.
