Anindya Banerji, Ravindra P. Singh, Abir Bandyopadhyay

TL;DR
This paper explores using the negativity of the Wigner function as a measure of entanglement in generalized vortex states formed by multiphoton subtraction, comparing it with concurrence results.
Contribution
It introduces a novel entanglement measure based on Wigner function negativity for vortex states and compares it with traditional concurrence measures.
Findings
Wigner function negativity correlates with entanglement levels
The proposed measure captures quantum interference effects
Comparison shows consistency with concurrence results
Abstract
The negativity of the Wigner function is discussed as a measure of the non classicality and the quantum interference pattern obtained therein as a possible measure of the entanglement between the two modes of the vortex states. This measure of entanglement is compared with the results obtained from concurrence.
