TL;DR
This paper constructs a neutrino mixing model using the Cabibbo angle and a flavor parameter, aligning with experimental data and exploring CP violation effects.
Contribution
It introduces a phenomenological neutrino mass matrix based on $- au$ symmetry with only two parameters, linking the Cabibbo angle to neutrino mixing.
Findings
Model reproduces best-fit solar mixing angle and mass squared difference.
Predicts a specific neutrino mixing matrix with $ heta_{13}=0$ and $ heta_{23}=rac{}{4}$.
Analyzes the impact of CP phase $_{cp}$ on leptonic mixing.
Abstract
We phenomenologically build a neutrino mass matrix obeying symmetry with only two parameters, Cabibbo angle and a flavour twister parameter . For vanishing , the model assumes TBM mixing. When , the model generates a solar mixing angle and solar mass squared difference that coincide with the experimental best-fits. It motivates us to propose a mixing matrix in the neutrino sector with , and . The corrections in and are conducted following the breaking of symmetry, by choosing a proper unitary diagonalizing charged lepton matrix, and this ensures that lies within the first octant. The Cabibbo angle plays the role of a guiding parameter in both neutrino as well as leptonic sector. The…
