Static spacetimes with/without black holes in dynamical Chern-Simons gravity
Tetsuya Shiromizu, Kentaro Tanabe

TL;DR
This paper proves that in dynamical Chern-Simons gravity, static, asymptotically flat black holes are uniquely Schwarzschild, and strictly static spacetimes are Minkowski, highlighting uniqueness properties in this modified gravity theory.
Contribution
It establishes the uniqueness of Schwarzschild black holes and Minkowski spacetime in static solutions within dynamical Chern-Simons gravity.
Findings
Black hole solutions are Schwarzschild in this theory.
Strictly static spacetimes are Minkowski.
Uniqueness results extend understanding of solutions in modified gravity.
Abstract
We show that the static and asymptotically flat black hole spacetime is unique to be Schwarzschild spacetime in the dynamical Chern-Simons gravity. In addition, we show that the strictly static spacetimes should be the Minkowski spacetime.
