N.Suzuki, M. Biyajima

TL;DR
This paper analyzes Bose-Einstein correlations in 7 TeV proton-proton collisions using quantum optical models, estimating source parameters and their dependence on multiplicity and transverse momentum.
Contribution
It applies the quantum optical approach to fixed multiplicity data, providing new estimates of chaoticity parameters and source radii in high-energy collisions.
Findings
Estimated chaoticity parameters for inclusive and semi-inclusive events.
Determined the dependence of source radii on multiplicity and transverse momentum.
Provided a quantum optical interpretation of Bose-Einstein correlations in high-energy $pp$ collisions.
Abstract
The multiplicity distribution and the two-particle Bose-Einstein correlations at fixed multiplicities observed in collisions at TeV by the ALICE Collaboration are analyzed by the formulae obtained in the quantum optical approach. The chaoticity parameters in the inclusive and semi-inclusive events are estimated from the analysis. Multiplicity or dependence of longitudinal and transverse source radii are also estimated.
