TL;DR
This paper explores a dark energy model leading to Quasi-Rip cosmology, where the universe undergoes a transition from phantom to non-phantom phases based on an inhomogeneous equation of state.
Contribution
It introduces a specific fluid model with an inhomogeneous equation of state that induces the Quasi-Rip cosmological scenario.
Findings
Conditions for Quasi-Rip emergence derived
Equation of state parameters analyzed
Transition between phantom and non-phantom phases described
Abstract
We investigate a specific model for dark energy, which lead to the Quasi-Rip cosmology. In the Quasi-Rip model, the equation of the state parameter is less than -1 in the first stage, but then in the second stage is larger than -1. The conditions for the appearance the Quasi-Rip in the terms of the parameters equation of state are received.
