TL;DR
This paper updates cosmological and astrophysical constraints on majoron dark matter using recent CMB, X-ray, and gamma-ray data, refining the parameter space for this dark matter candidate.
Contribution
It provides the latest bounds on majoron dark matter properties based on new observational data, enhancing previous constraints.
Findings
Stronger limits on majoron mass and coupling parameters.
Refined constraints from recent CMB and gamma-ray observations.
Implications for the viability of majoron as a dark matter candidate.
Abstract
The majoron provides an attractive dark matter candidate, directly associated to the mechanism responsible for spontaneous neutrino mass generation within the standard model framework. Here we update the cosmological and astrophysical constraints on majoron dark matter which come from the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) and a variety of X- and gamma-ray observations.
