Chaotic inflation in supergravity and cosmic string production
Andrei Linde

TL;DR
This paper presents a supergravity-based chaotic inflation model that allows tuning of cosmological parameters and includes the potential for cosmic string contributions to CMB anisotropy.
Contribution
It introduces a simple supergravity model of chaotic inflation with adjustable cosmological parameters and cosmic string effects.
Findings
Flexible tuning of inflationary parameters
Inclusion of cosmic string contributions to CMB
Potential for matching observational data
Abstract
We describe a simple model of chaotic inflation in supergravity where one can easily tune not only the basic cosmological parameters such as n_{s}, r, and f_NL, but also a possible (subdominant) cosmic string contribution to the CMB anisotropy.
