TL;DR
This paper explores the concept of space-time and gravity as emergent phenomena from fundamental structures, discusses multiverse theories, and speculates on the origins of our universe within this framework.
Contribution
It offers a theoretical discussion on emergent space-time and gravity, and proposes ideas connecting multiverse concepts to the origin of our universe.
Findings
Space-time and gravity may be emergent phenomena.
Multiverse theories could explain the origin of our universe.
Speculative links between fundamental structures and cosmology.
Abstract
We present a general discussion about the so-called emergent properties and discuss whether space-time and gravity can be regarded as emergent features of underlying more fundamental structures. Finally, we discuss some ideas about the multiverse, and speculate on how our universe might arise from the multiverse.
