Contribution
It introduces a novel algorithm that enhances the quantification accuracy of gold particles in immuno-TEM, based on existing protocols.
Findings
Improved accuracy in gold particle quantification.
Algorithm aligns with existing immuno-labeling protocols.
Facilitates better analysis of biological samples.
Abstract
We briefly outline an algorithm for accurate quantification of specific binding of gold particles to fixed biological tissue samples prepared for immuno-transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The algorithm is based on existing protocols for rational accounting of colloidal gold particles used in secondary antibodies for immuno-gold labeling.
