Properties of a Two-Sphere Singularity
Deborah A. Konkowski, Thomas M. Helliwell

TL;DR
This paper investigates a classical two-sphere singularity in a Florides metric, analyzing its properties and demonstrating that quantum effects do not resolve this singularity.
Contribution
It expands on the properties of a two-sphere singularity and shows that quantum analysis does not eliminate this classical singularity.
Findings
The two-sphere singularity has specific classical properties.
Quantum analysis does not resolve the classical singularity.
Abstract
Recently B\"ohmer and Lobo have shown that a metric due to Florides can be extended to reveal a classical singularity that has the form of a two-sphere. Here we discuss and expand on the classical singularity properties and then show the classical singularity is not healed by a quantum analysis.
