TL;DR
This paper investigates how Z and Z' mediated flavor-changing neutral currents influence the decay of B_s mesons into tau pairs, revealing an enhanced branching ratio that could explain recent CP-violation observations.
Contribution
It introduces a study of Z and Z' mediated FCNC effects on B_s to tau tau decays, highlighting an enhancement over the Standard Model prediction.
Findings
Branching ratio of B_s to tau tau is increased compared to SM.
Enhanced decay rate could explain recent CP-violation measurements.
Potential implications for new physics beyond the Standard Model.
Abstract
In recent years, decays into has attracted a lot of attention since it is very sensitive to the structure of standard model (SM) and potential source of new physics beyond SM. In this paper, we study the effect of both Z and -mediated flavor-changing neutral currents on the decays into . We find the branching ratio of decays into is enhanced relative to SM prediction, which would help to explain the recent observed CP-violation from like-sign dimuon charge asymmetry in the B system.
