Description of the \psi(3770) resonance interfering with the background
N.N. Achasov, G.N. Shestakov

TL;DR
This paper discusses a method to determine the parameters of the interfering (3770) resonance in electron-positron collisions, emphasizing the importance of unitarity-compliant models and illustrating the approach with a simple mixed-resonance model.
Contribution
It introduces a unitarity-based modeling approach to analyze the (3770) resonance interference with background in e+e- Dar D reactions, demonstrated through a simple mixed-resonance model.
Findings
The unitarity approach can be used to select appropriate models for resonance analysis.
The simple mixed (3770) and (2S) resonance model illustrates the method.
Future high-statistics data can test the proposed model's validity.
Abstract
The parameters of the interfering resonance should be determined from the data on the reactions \,\, with the use of the models satisfying the elastic unitarity requirement. The selection of such models can be realized by comparing their predictions with the relevant data on the shape of the peak in the non- decay channels. Here, we illustrate this unitarity approach by the example of the most simple variant of the model of the mixed and resonances. When new high-statistics data become available, it will be interesting to test this clarity variant.
