TL;DR
This paper analyzes the photoproduction of the $f_0(980)$ meson on protons at energies around 3.0 to 3.8 GeV, comparing theoretical models with CLAS experimental data to understand resonance structure and production mechanisms.
Contribution
It introduces a Regge-based model with reggeized exchanges to describe the $f_0(980)$ photoproduction differential cross section, considering different coupling scenarios.
Findings
Model describes the S-wave differential cross section well.
Different $f_0(980) ightarrow V ext{gamma}$ coupling scenarios impact the results.
Provides insights into the resonance structure and production mechanisms.
Abstract
In this work we present the results of a theoretical analysis of the data on photoproduction of meson in the laboratory photon energy between 3.0 and 3.8 GeV. A comparison is done to the measurements performed by the CLAS collaboration at JLab accelerator for the exclusive reaction . In the analysis the partial S-wave differential cross section is described by a model based on Regge approach with reggeized exchanges and distinct scenarios for the coupling are considered. It is shown that such a process can provide information on the resonance structure and production mechanism.
