Einstein Static Universe in Exponential $f(T)$ Gravity
Jung-Tsung Li, Chung-Chi Lee, Chao-Qiang Geng

TL;DR
This paper investigates the stability of Einstein static universes within exponential $f(T)$ gravity models, revealing stable solutions and broad parameter regions for the equation of state.
Contribution
It demonstrates the existence of stable Einstein static solutions in exponential $f(T)$ gravity, expanding understanding of static universe models in modified gravity theories.
Findings
Stable Einstein static solutions are found in both models.
Large parameter regions for the equation of state are compatible with stability.
Stable solutions exist for both closed and open universe configurations.
Abstract
We analyze the stability of the Einstein static closed and open universe in two types of exponential gravity theories. We show that the stable solutions exist in these two models. In particular, we find that large regions of parameter space in equation of state for the stable universe are allowed in the theories.
