TL;DR
This paper establishes local well-posedness for the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation in two dimensions using advanced Fourier analysis techniques and refined inequalities.
Contribution
It introduces the Fourier restriction norm method combined with bilinear Strichartz refinements to prove well-posedness for s>1/2.
Findings
Proves local well-posedness in H^s for s>1/2
Develops bilinear refinements of Strichartz inequalities
Enhances analytical tools for dispersive PDEs
Abstract
The Cauchy problem for the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation is shown to be locally well-posed in H^s(R^2) for all s>1/2 by using the Fourier restriction norm method and bilinear refinements of Strichartz type inequalities.
