"Warm" Tachyon Matter from Back-reaction on the Brane
Neven Bilic, Gary B. Tupper

TL;DR
This paper investigates a 3-brane in the Randall-Sundrum II model, incorporating back-reaction effects to derive a tachyon model characterized by a linear barotropic equation of state.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach by including back-reaction effects, leading to a new tachyon model within the Randall-Sundrum framework.
Findings
Derived a tachyon model with linear barotropic equation of state
Demonstrated the impact of back-reaction on brane dynamics
Provided insights into brane-world cosmology with tachyon matter
Abstract
We study a 3-brane moving in the five-dimensional bulk of the Randall-Sundrum II model. By including back-reaction of the brane on the bulk geometry we obtain a tachyon model with a linear barotropic equation of state.
