TL;DR
This paper explores how modifying general relativity with curvature effects could potentially prevent catastrophic future events caused by holographic Ricci dark energy in the universe.
Contribution
It introduces a modified gravity approach to avoid the doomsdays predicted by holographic Ricci dark energy models.
Findings
Modified gravity can prevent future cosmic doomsdays
Curvature effects influence dark energy evolution
Potential for stable cosmic evolution
Abstract
It is well known that the holographic Ricci dark energy can induce some future doomsdays in the evolution of the universe. Here we analyse the possible avoidance of those doomsdays by invoking a modification to general relativity on the form of curvature effects.
