TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential for the LHC to detect the first Kaluza-Klein gluon in a warped extra dimension model by analyzing the sensitivity of the ATLAS experiment in the two b-jets decay channel.
Contribution
It introduces a study of the LHC's sensitivity to KK gluons considering model parameters like mass and coupling in the two b-jets channel.
Findings
Assessment of ATLAS sensitivity to KK gluon detection.
Parameter space exploration for KK gluon mass and coupling.
Potential observability of KK gluons at the LHC.
Abstract
We study a possibility of observation of the first Kaluza-Klein (KK) excitation of gluon in a warped extra dimension model at the LHC. In our analysis, we adopt the KK gluon mass and the b-quark coupling to the KK gluon as model parameters and study the sensitivity of the ATLAS experiment to observe the KK gluon through the two -jets channel.
