Zhanping Wang, Zhongkui Liu

TL;DR
This paper introduces and investigates the Ding projective dimension for complexes of modules over rings, providing a functorial framework for homologically bounded below complexes.
Contribution
It defines Ding projective dimension for complexes and establishes its functorial properties for bounded below complexes.
Findings
Ding projective dimension is well-defined for complexes.
The dimension has a clear functorial description.
Applicable to homologically bounded below complexes.
Abstract
In this paper, we define and study a notion of Ding projective dimension for complexes of left modules over associative rings. In particular, we consider the class of homologically bounded below complexes of left R-modules, and show that Ding projective dimension has a nice functorial description.
