M.A.Braun

TL;DR
This paper investigates high-energy nucleon-nucleon collisions using the BFKL approach, highlighting the potential significance of BKP states with four reggeized gluons in deuteron-deuteron scattering.
Contribution
It introduces the role of BKP states with four reggeized gluons in the BFKL framework, suggesting their possible leading contribution in certain scattering processes.
Findings
BKP states contribute significantly to deuteron-deuteron scattering
Intermediate BKP states may be experimentally observable
Diagrams with colour redistribution are analyzed
Abstract
High-energy collisions of two nucleons on two nucleons are studied in the BFKL approach in the leading approximation in . Diagrams with redistribution of colour are considered. It is found that intermediate BKP states consisting of 4 reggeized gluons give a contribution which may be leading in deuteron-deuteron scattering and thus experimentally observable.
