TL;DR
This paper examines how the potential existence of B -> D' l nu decays to excited D' mesons could resolve longstanding discrepancies in experimental data related to semileptonic b -> c l nu decays, updating previous analyses.
Contribution
It explores the impact of B -> D' l nu decays on existing puzzles in semileptonic B decays and updates relevant numerical estimates.
Findings
Potential B -> D' l nu decays could explain experimental anomalies.
Updated decay rate estimates and their implications.
Insights into resolving semileptonic decay puzzles.
Abstract
We discussed the impact of the existence of B -> D' l nu decays to radially excited D' mesons on various long-standing puzzles in the experimental data of semileptonic b -> c ell nu decays, as summarized in our recent article arXiv:1202.1834, and updated some numbers.
