TL;DR
This paper calculates the twist-3 light-cone distribution amplitudes of scalar mesons using improved QCD sum rules, and applies these to study $B o S$ transition form factors, finding results consistent with existing literature.
Contribution
It provides the first estimation of the moments of twist-3 LCDAs for scalar mesons within an improved QCD sum rule framework and applies them to $B o S$ transitions.
Findings
Estimated moments of twist-3 LCDAs for scalar mesons.
Calculated $B o S$ transition form factors at large recoil.
Results agree with existing literature, validating the LCDAs.
Abstract
We investigate the twist-3 light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) of the scalar mesons , and within the QCD sum rules. The QCD sum rules are improved by a consistent treatment of the sizable -quark mass effects within the framework of the background field approach. Adopting the valence quark component as the dominant structure of the scalar mesons, our estimation for their masses are close to the measured , and . From the sum rules, we obtain the first two non-zero moments of the twist-3 LCDAs : and ; those of the twist-3 LCDAs : and $\langle \xi_{\sigma,K^{\ast}_0}^{1(2)} \rangle…
