TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of a single top quark with a W boson at a gamma-proton collider, analyzing how anomalous couplings affect the process and showing improved sensitivity over hadron collider searches.
Contribution
It provides a detailed calculation of the cross section for single top and W boson production considering anomalous couplings at LHeC-based gamma-proton colliders, highlighting enhanced sensitivity.
Findings
Sensitivity to anomalous couplings is comparable or better than hadron collider searches.
Cross sections are computed for the process with anomalous Wtb and Wtbγ couplings.
The study demonstrates the potential of gamma-proton colliders in probing top quark anomalies.
Abstract
We consider the production of a single top quark in association with a boson at LHeC based collider. We compute the cross section for the process with the anomalous and couplings. We find that the sensitivities to anomalous couplings of top quark are shown to be comparable, even better than the ones obtained from direct searches at hadron colliders.
