Mass Creation From Extra Dimensions
Dao Vong Duc, Nguyen Mong Giao

TL;DR
This paper explores a mass creation mechanism via compactified extra dimensions and links the presence of tachyons with negative mass squared to timelike extra dimensions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel mass generation mechanism based on extra-dimensional periodicity and clarifies the relation between tachyons and timelike extra dimensions.
Findings
Mass creation is linked to the periodicity of compactified extra dimensions.
Tachyons with negative mass squared are associated with timelike extra dimensions.
The proposed mechanism offers insights into mass generation in higher-dimensional theories.
Abstract
In this work we consider a mechanism for mass creation based on the periodicity condition dictated from the compactification of extradimensions. It is also shown that the existence of Tachyon having negative square mass is closely related to time- like extradimensions.
