Analysis of the decay constants of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons with QCD sum rules
Zhi-Gang Wang

TL;DR
This paper recalculates decay constants of heavy pseudoscalar mesons using QCD sum rules, incorporating higher-order condensate contributions and comparing two mass schemes, achieving results consistent with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces improved calculations of decay constants by including higher-order condensate corrections and compares different mass schemes within QCD sum rules.
Findings
Predictions for $f_D$ and $f_B$ are consistent with experimental data.
Using pole masses yields better agreement for $f_{D_s}$ and the ratio $f_{D_s}/f_D$.
Higher-order condensate contributions significantly impact the results.
Abstract
In this article, we recalculate the contributions of all vacuum condensates up to dimension-6, in particular the one-loop corrections to the quark condensates and partial one-loop corrections to the four-quark condensates , in the operator product expansion. Then we study the masses and decay constants of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons , , and using the QCD sum rules with two choices: {\bf I} we choose the masses by setting and take perturbative corrections up to the order ; {\bf II} we choose the pole masses , take perturbative corrections up to the order and set the energy-scale to be the heavy quark pole mass . In the case of {\bf I}, the predictions and are consistent with the…
