I.Stefaniuk, P.Potera, I.Rogalska, D.Wr\'obel

TL;DR
This study uses EPR spectroscopy to analyze defects in chromium-doped Bi12GeO20 single crystals before and after high-energy uranium ion irradiation, including effects of heating on the defect structure.
Contribution
It provides new insights into defect formation and evolution in Bi12GeO20 crystals under high-energy uranium ion irradiation and thermal treatment.
Findings
Identification of specific defect centers via EPR spectra
Changes in defect structure after irradiation and heating
Insights into radiation-induced defect dynamics
Abstract
The results of investigations of EPR spectra of chromium doped single crystals are presented. The crystals were studied before and after irradiation by the ions with energy 9.47 MeV/u and fluency . The effect of heating irradiated samples in air on the EPR spectra is also studied.
