TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the first experimental measurement of the Goos-Hanchen shift using weak measurement techniques, enabling detection of very small optical phenomena.
Contribution
It introduces a novel application of weak measurement to observe the Goos-Hanchen shift experimentally for the first time.
Findings
Successful weak measurement of the Goos-Hanchen shift
Enhanced detection sensitivity for small optical effects
Potential for improved optical sensing applications
Abstract
It is well known from quantum mechanics that weak measurements offer a means of amplifying and detecting very small phenomena. We present here the first experimental observation of the Goos-Hanchen shift via a weak measurement approach.
