On the energy of particle collisions in the ergosphere of the rotating black holes
A. A. Grib, Yu. V. Pavlov

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that particle collisions within the ergosphere of a rotating black hole can achieve unbounded energy in the center of mass frame, especially when involving particles with large negative angular momentum.
Contribution
It reveals that the energy of colliding particles in the ergosphere can grow infinitely, highlighting a new aspect of energy dynamics near rotating black holes.
Findings
Energy in the center of mass frame can become unlimited in the ergosphere.
Large negative angular momentum of one particle facilitates infinite energy growth.
The effect occurs at any point within the ergosphere for fixed energy at infinity.
Abstract
It is shown that the energy in the centre of mass frame of colliding particles in free fall at any point of the ergosphere of the rotating black hole can grow without limit for fixed energy values on infinity. The effect takes place for large negative values of the angular momentum of one of the particles.
