Higher order linear parabolic equations
Gerassimos Barbatis, Filippo Gazzola

TL;DR
This paper reviews higher order linear parabolic equations, emphasizing differences from second order cases, analyzing convolution kernels, and discussing current research and open problems in the field.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive survey of higher order linear parabolic equations and highlights key differences, current results, and open questions.
Findings
Analysis of convolution kernel behavior
Updated survey of existing results
Identification of open research problems
Abstract
We first highlight the main differences between second order and higher order linear parabolic equations. Then we survey existing results for the latter, in particular by analyzing the behavior of the convolution kernels. We illustrate the updated state of art and we suggest several open problems.
