Simple Models with Non-Abelian Moduli on Topological Defects
M. Shifman

TL;DR
This paper discusses how simple topological defects like strings and domain walls can host localized non-Abelian moduli on their world sheets, extending Witten's cosmic string model.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized framework for topological defects acquiring non-Abelian moduli, expanding understanding of defect dynamics and properties.
Findings
Topological defects can host non-Abelian moduli on their world sheets.
The set-up generalizes Witten's cosmic string model.
Provides a conceptual basis for further exploration of defect moduli.
Abstract
I explain how conventional topological defects -- the Abrikosov-Nielsen-Olesen (ANO) string and domain walls -- can acquire non-Abelian moduli localized on their world sheets. The set-up is conceptually similar and generalizes that used by Witten for cosmic strings.
