Measurements of $\Delta m_d$, $\Delta m_s$, and $\sin 2 \beta$ with LHCb
Julian Wishahi

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of B meson oscillation frequencies and CP asymmetry using LHCb data, providing key inputs for testing the CKM matrix unitarity in particle physics.
Contribution
First measurements of $ riangle m_d$, $ riangle m_s$, and CP asymmetry in B decays using LHCb data from 2011, advancing understanding of quark mixing.
Findings
Measured $ riangle m_d$ and $ riangle m_s$ with high precision.
Determined the CP asymmetry in $B^0 o J/ ext{psi} K_S^0$ decays.
Results support the Standard Model predictions.
Abstract
We present measurements of the oscillation frequencies and of meson mixing as well as a measurement of the time-dependent CP-asymmetry in decays of based on of data collected by the LHCb experiment in 2011. These measurements give valuable input to tests of the unitarity of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix.
