Measurements of B lifetimes at LHCb
Francesca Dordei (on behalf of the LHCb collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of B_s^0 meson lifetimes and decay parameters at LHCb, providing insights into the mixing and CP violation phenomena in the B_s^0 system.
Contribution
It presents new measurements of B_s^0 effective lifetimes, width difference, and CP-violating phase using multiple decay channels and angular analysis, enhancing understanding of B_s^0 mixing.
Findings
Measured B_s^0 effective lifetime in B_s^0 → K^+ K^- and J/ψ f_0(980) decays.
Determined ΔΓ_s and Γ_s through time-dependent angular analysis of B_s^0 → J/ψ φ.
Established the sign of ΔΓ_s using data from 2011.
Abstract
Measurements of the effective lifetime in decays to CP-odd and CP-even flavour specific final states allow to probe the width difference and the CP-violating phase of mixing box-diagram. Measurements of the effective lifetime in the decay channels and are presented, as well as a measurement of and performed by a tagged time-dependent angular analysis of decays and a measurement of the sign of , using data collected during 2011 with the LHCb detector.
