Charged Higgs discovery potential in the single top mode in 2HDMs
Renato Guedes, Stefano Moretti, Rui Santos

TL;DR
This paper evaluates the potential to discover charged Higgs bosons via single top production in 2HDMs, highlighting how this channel can constrain model parameters like mass and tan beta.
Contribution
It introduces the use of single top production as a novel probe for charged Higgs in both CP-conserving and CP-violating 2HDMs, expanding search strategies.
Findings
Single top mode can effectively constrain ($m_{H^ ext{±}}$, $ an eta$) in 2HDMs.
The approach applies to both CP-conserving and CP-violating models.
Potential for discovery or exclusion in upcoming collider experiments.
Abstract
We discuss the discovery potential of a charged Higgs boson in the single top mode. The models discussed include a CP-conserving and a CP-violating version of the softly broken symmetric 2HDM potential. We conclude that the single top mode could help to constrain the (, ) plane in several versions of 2HDMs.
