Generalized parton distributions from meson leptoproduction
P. Kroll

TL;DR
This paper reviews the extraction of generalized parton distributions (GPDs) from meson leptoproduction, focusing on the GPD E, and discusses their applications to DVCS and Ji's sum rule.
Contribution
It provides a concise review of GPD extraction methods from meson leptoproduction and explores their implications for virtual Compton scattering and nucleon spin structure.
Findings
GPD E can be effectively extracted from meson leptoproduction data.
Applications to DVCS help validate GPD models.
Insights into Ji's sum rule are discussed.
Abstract
Generalized parton distributions (GPDs) extracted from exclusive meson leptoproduction within the handbag approach are briefly reviewed. Only the GPD E is discussed in some detail. Applications of these GPDs to virtual Compton scattering (DVCS) and to Ji's sum rule are also presented.
