Thermodynamic formalism for interval maps: inducing schemes
Godofredo Iommi, Mike Todd

TL;DR
This survey explores how inducing schemes help analyze the thermodynamic formalism and multifractal structure of interval maps, providing a detailed framework for understanding complex dynamical behaviors.
Contribution
It offers a comprehensive overview of inducing schemes and their application to thermodynamic formalism and multifractal analysis in interval maps.
Findings
Inducing schemes facilitate detailed analysis of thermodynamic formalism.
They enable characterization of multifractal spectra.
The approach improves understanding of complex dynamical systems.
Abstract
This survey article concerns inducing schemes in the context of interval maps. We explain how the study of these induced systems allows for the fine description of, not only, the thermodynamic formalism for certain multimodal maps, but also of its multifractal structure.
