TL;DR
This paper advances the precision of Higgs boson production calculations at the LHC by computing NNLO partonic cross sections through order epsilon and performing convolutions with splitting functions to N3LO, enhancing theoretical accuracy.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed calculation of NNLO cross sections including epsilon terms and convolutions with splitting functions to N3LO for Higgs production, improving theoretical predictions.
Findings
Computed NNLO cross sections including order epsilon terms.
Performed convolutions with splitting functions to N3LO accuracy.
Enhanced the precision of Higgs production cross section predictions.
Abstract
We consider Higgs boson production at hadron colliders in the gluon fusion channel and compute higher order terms in the regularization parameter . In particular, the next-to-next-to-leading order cross section is evaluated including order terms. These results are used to compute all convolutions with the splitting functions entering the next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order cross section.
