Jean-Paul Blaizot, Eduardo S. Fraga, Leticia F. Palhares

TL;DR
This paper calculates the two-loop QCD pressure in a strong magnetic field for various quark masses, revealing that at extremely high fields, the chiral limit simplifies significantly.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed two-loop calculation of QCD pressure with arbitrary quark masses in strong magnetic backgrounds.
Findings
Pressure simplifies in the chiral limit at very large magnetic fields
Two-loop contributions are significant for understanding QCD in magnetic fields
The chiral limit becomes trivial under extremely strong magnetic backgrounds
Abstract
We compute the two-loop contribution to the QCD pressure in a strong magnetic background, for arbitrary quark masses. We show that, for very large fields, the chiral limit is trivial.
