Open charm hadron production via hadronic decays at STAR
David Tlusty (for the STAR collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of open charm hadron production at STAR in proton-proton and gold-gold collisions at different energies, focusing on transverse momentum spectra, nuclear modification factors, and elliptic flow.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on open charm production, including nuclear modification factors and elliptic flow, at different collision energies and systems.
Findings
Measured $D^0$ nuclear modification factor in Au+Au collisions.
Observed elliptic flow of open charm hadrons.
Presented transverse momentum spectra for various collision systems.
Abstract
In this article, we report on the STAR results of open charm hadron production at mid-rapidity in and Au+Au collisions at = 200 GeV and collisions at = 500 GeV. The measurements cover transverse momentum range from 0.6 to 6 GeV/c for 200 GeV collisions, from 1 to 6 GeV/c for 500 GeV collisions and from 0 to 6 GeV/c for Au+Au 200 GeV collisions. nuclear modification factor and elliptic flow in Au+Au collisions at = 200 GeV are presented.
